We work to foster a culture of respect and cooperation, focusing on shared ethical standards and strong compliance programs that enable our customers to succeed and our communities to thrive. We achieve this by following our Guiding Principles and our Code of Conduct. When anyone sees behavior that does not align with these, we encourage them to speak with a manager or report their concerns to the Ethics Open Line.
Guiding Principles
Our Guiding Principles date back almost 20 years. They are ingrained in our culture and serve as the foundation for the expected behaviors of employees all over the world.
AN PHAT’s seven Guiding Principles:
-
We obey the law.
-
We conduct our business with integrity.
-
We keep accurate and honest records.
-
We honor our business obligations.
-
We treat people with dignity and respect.
-
We protect AN PHAT’s information, assets and interests.
-
We are committed to being a responsible global citizen.
Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct is grounded in our Guiding Principles and outlines the shared ethical standards and compliance policies that apply to all employees worldwide. It outlines our ethical and legal responsibilities and what we need to do to earn and retain the trust of our employees, our customers and our communities.
Ethics Open Line
AN PHAT has established a help line, called the Ethics Open Line, for employees or any third party to ask a question or raise a concern about the conduct of an employee or anyone representing AN PHAT. We respond to all questions and take reports of potential misconduct seriously, and we handle investigations promptly, fairly, and as confidentially as possible.
Our key programs and actions
Rather than introducing new safety programs, AN PHAT continues to enhance our foundational safety programming through our LIFE (Life-altering Injury and Fatality Elimination) program. The program, which was introduced in 2020, is aimed at identifying and addressing life-threatening dangers hidden in our tasks and workplace to ensure every job can be done safely and every person goes home safe every day.
Here are some components of our LIFE program:
LIFEsavers are the 12 activities that present the highest-risk to employees and contractors across all AN PHAT businesses. Each LIFEsaver identifies key risks and minimum requirements for performing these activities safely. By eliminating risks associated with these activities, we also eliminate the chances of serious injuries or fatalities. During this fiscal year, we implemented a new electrical safety program globally, designed to enhance the safety of our facilities and work practices.
Corporate Giving
Supporting global and national organizations
AN PHAT provides corporate support to select national and global nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that serve communities in which we have a business presence. We support partners working within our focus areas of nourishing our world, protecting our planet, and enriching our communities.
During 2022-2025, AN PHAT contributed more than VND 5 billion to our partners and local communities
Together for community
Supporting communities where we live and work
Our focus
This is home. This is where you raise your family, go to work, build a life, and become part of a community. We get it, because this is our home, too. It's where we work to do the right thing for each other and our community. Whether it is volunteering at food shelves, planting trees and mentoring our youth, nearly 500 employee-led
AN PHAT's emloyees are coming together for our communities. We are active and dedicated community members, partnering with NGOs around the globe to make an impact, where we live and work.
